George Warner is Mike Warner's loving (if perhaps somewhat too sexually open) father in Shortpacked! and Dumbing of Age.

Mike's parents were first introduced during Mike and Amber's trip to New York. To Amber's surprise, they were nothing at all like their son, being friendly, warm-hearted, and extremely welcoming.
Despite his "gay" sweater vest and Leave It to Beaver demeanor, George Warner seems to be something of a sex machine full of wonderfully inappropriate fatherly advice, telling his son to stock up on birth control because "the birthing process just wrecks everything down there" and helpfully suggesting optimal angles of penetration.
The Warners later attended Mike and Amber's wedding. If George had any advice for Mike on how to handle his wedding night, we thankfully weren't privy to it.

- According to George, he made the decision to propose to Harriet after having sex with her six times in as many hours. Good luck getting that image out of your head.
- Was vaguely disgusted by the fact that his son had sex with Ethan Siegal just to drive a wedge between him and Amber.

The Warners were among the many parents visiting the IU campus for Freshman Family Weekend. At Mike's suggestion, George joined a group hug with a free-ballin' David Walkerton.
